Whistle-blower gets Prosecuted

In an amazing story, The New York Times reports that in Texas, a nurse who reported her boss’ misdeads to the state medical board now faces criminal charges for “misuse of official information.”  Small town politics and home cooking are rampant in this tale, but with a trial scheduled to start next week, the main issue is whether she acted in good faith, or rather attempted to smear a beloved local doctor’s reputation.

If you have been the victim of whistle-blowing backlash, or suffered damages due to your employer’s actions, you have certain rights that must be used within limited time periods.  Contact Forrest Wallace at The McKellar Law Firm fora FREE Consultation at (865) 566-0125.
